BENTON. IL On 9/28/17 at approximately 3:30 p.m. Benton Police Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of N. Main Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon investigating the complaint, officers arrested 21 year old Christopher W. Worthey of Benton on an arrest warrant out of Franklin County for Failure to Appear. Worthey was transported to the Franklin County Jail.
On 10/1/17 at approximately 2:20 p.m. Benton Police Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Franklin Drive in reference to a 911 report of a domestic disturbance. Upon investigating the complaint, officers arrested 37 year old David P. Gosnell of Benton for Domestic Battery. Gosnell was transported to the Franklin County Jail.
