Union Pacific has completed the work on the crossing on South Main (Route 37) in Benton. It has been open to traffic since yesterday afternoon.
Main Street in West Frankfort (Route 149) is now closed for repair of the railroad crossing. It will be completed before 7:00 p.m. tomorrow evening, weather permitting.
