(The Center Square) – The temporary restraining order against Illinois’ gun ban issued by an Effingham County judge has been upheld by the Fifth District Appellate Court of Illinois.
William “Billy Joe” Loman – Sesser, IL
William “Billy Joe” Loman, 94, of Sesser, passed away on Friday January 27, 2023 at Nature Trail Nursing Home in Sesser.
He was born on October 11, 1928 in Sesser, IL to James and Iva Bell (Bradley) Loman. He married Betty (Pierce) Loman and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children Rhonda Bullington of Mt Vernon, Kathy (Gene) Jones of Bluford, Peggy (Toby) York of Mt Vernon, Steve (Paula) Loman of Mt Vernon and David Loman of Waltonville; thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son Jeff Loman and ten brothers and sisters Harrison Loman, Howard Loman, Jeri Wakeup, William Homer Loman, Ina Whitsell, Kenneth Loman, Donna Roberts, Max Loman, Ruth Ann Loman and Harold Loman.
Graveside services will be on Thursday February 2, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser with Brother Larry Cook officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday February 1, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral home in Sesser.
