LOUISVILLE, KY — Rend Lake College students were joined by Mt. Vernon High School Students at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, for the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) on November 16.
NAILE is the largest all-breed, purebred livestock exposition in the nation, with nearly 30,000 entries and more than 140 competitions spanning 17 days and ten different species. It’s here that global industry standards are established, with breeders merchandising bloodlines and genetics to local and international interests.
“The experience today with the cattle, sheep, and goats was invaluable for our livestock evaluation team,” said John Kabat, Mt. Vernon High School Ag Faculty. “They saw some of the best genetics in America! Great times! ”
