John David Harvey, 85, of Sesser, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
John was born in Sesser, Illinois, on March 15, 1941, the son of John Calvin Harvey and Laura Edna (Taylor) Harvey. He married Mary Ann (Vowell) Harvey on June 17, 1967 and she survives of Sesser. John is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Harvey; his children, Catherine Ann Harvey of Florida, and John Robert Harvey of Sesser; one brother Robert Taylor Harvey of Salem and one grandson Dale Lee Harvey. John was preceded in death by his parents, John Calvin Harvey and Laura Enna (Taylor) Harvey; one son Calvin Eugene Harvey and one sister Janice Kay Curry.
John’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.
