Pyramid Players Bring Broadway Hit 9 to 5: The Musical to the Benton Civic Center

BENTON – Pyramid Players’ 50th Season continues as they proudly present 9 to 5: The Musical, July 10–12 at the Benton Civic Center.

Based on the beloved 1980 film and featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, the musical tells the story of three overworked and
underappreciated office workers who decide it’s time to stand up to their egotistical boss. Filled with outrageous humor, heart, and memorable
songs, 9 to 5: The Musical celebrates friendship, determination, and the idea that sometimes the underdog comes out on top.

Directed by Pyramid Players co-founder Allan Kimball, the production features a talented local cast and crew who have spent weeks bringing the
fast-paced comedy to life. The cast includes performers from throughout Southern Illinois, continuing the Pyramid Players’ 50-year tradition of
providing quality community theatre while showcasing local talent.

9 to 5: The Musical will be presented at 7pm on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, with a 2pm matinee on Sunday, July 12, at the Benton
Civic Center.
