GEC All Conference girls team

Galatia-Thompsonville’s Kennedy Harris and Kassidy Rizor are all Greater Egyptian Conference selections that the league announced recently.  Rizor also appeared in the Country Companies Three Point showdown in Bloominigton representing the Lady Cats at the Girls Class 1A State Tournament.

The League champion, the Gallatin County Lady Hawks had three girls on the team.  High scoring Haley Chubb was the league MVP. Katlyn Lynch was the captain.  Harlee Turner was also on the team.

Also on the team was Madison Murphy and Courtney Vickery of Pope County and Jessika Ratcliff of Hardin County.

There are four teams that participate in girls basketball in the GEC. NCOE, Crab Orchard, and Carrier Mills do not have girls basketball programs.
