Salukis get blown out in Peoria, lost to Bradley 63-44

PEORIA — SIU’s offensive struggles reached historic proportions Saturday night at Bradley.

The Salukis went 0-of-14 from behind the 3-point line in their 63-44 loss at Carver Arena, ending a streak of 118 straight games with at least one triple. It was just another indicator of how reliant SIU has become on junior guard Anthony Beane, who finished 2 of 15 from the field with eight points. The Salukis failed to get anyone into double figures for the first time this season and fell to 0-2 in the Missouri Valley Conference with a road trip to No. 23 Northern Iowa on the horizon Wednesday night.
