Janette Robinson, 91, of Coello, passed away on Saturday October 17, 2026 at DuQuoin Nursing & Rehab.
She was born on August 7, 1935 in Coello, IL to Bob and Anna (Susa) Crnokrak. She married Virgil Robinson and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2006.
She is survived by her granddaughter Wendy Tottleben of Maryville, IL; great grandchildren Patrick Tottleben and Sophie Tottleben and one brother Robert Crnokrak.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Patricia Wrigley, grandson-in-law Harold “John” Tottleben, two brothers Mitch Crnokrak and Danny Crnokrak and one sister Angeline Crnokrak.
Janette was the owner of Jan’s Village Lounge in Coello and loved to garden and made the best sugar cookies.
Funeral services will be on Friday October 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with Brother Larry Cook officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser.
