Kenneth Neil Furlow, 89, of Christopher, passed away on Monday February 9, 2026 at Herrin Hospital.
He was born on June 11, 1936 in Christopher to Orvil and Iva (Sanders) Furlow. He married Marilyn Jane (Wayman) Furlow on October 8, 1961 and she preceded him in death on January 30, 2022.
He is survived by his two sons Brian Neil Furlow of Christopher and Wayman (Donna) Furlow of Benton; granddaughter Lindsey Jo Furlow of DuQuoin; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Norman and Debbie Wayman of Chicago Heights and sister-in-law Virginia Wayman of DuQuoin, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, one grandson Josh Brisco, one sister Lola Fay Pavloff, and two brothers-in-laws Bill Wayman and Richard Wayman.
Funeral services will be on Friday February 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with Brother Don Wright officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Masonic and Odd Fellow Cemetery in Benton, IL.
