Mary Ann Lewis, 87, of Mulkeytown, passed away on Thursday October 23, 2025 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt Vernon, IL.
She was born on April 10, 1938 in Mulkeytown to George A. and Audrey (Malone) Hart. She married Gene Lewis and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two sons Gene (Rehana) Lewis of Jersey City, NJ and Todd Lewis of St Louis, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother George D. Hart.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday October 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with Brother Larry Cook officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Mulkeytown.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Friends of Franklin County Animal Control. Please make the checks out to Friends of FCAC and will be accepted at the funeral home.
