The Al Way era at Harrisburg has come to an end — and this time maybe for good.
Way, a fixture at Harrisburg and longtime southern Illinois coach, turned in his resignation papers Wednesday morning.
When reached by phone for a comment, Way didn’t return a phone call. Harrisburg athletic director Greg Langley confirmed to the Harrisburg Register that Way did indeed turn in resignation papers.
