Here is an excerpt.) – A pair of Sesser-Valier/Waltonville girls basketball players picked up Associated Press honors Thursday. Hannah Garascia was named second team AP all-state in 2A. Her teammate Jaylin Haley was selected as honorable mention. Both players are committed to play for Rend Lake College next season. “Nothing was given to them.
