Martha (Barham) Evancik, 91, of Christopher, passed away on Thursday February 5, 2026 at Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin, IL.
She was born on May 25, 1934 in Benton, IL to Henry Lafayette and Anna Louise (Kist) Barham.
Martha married Edward Joseph Evancik on August 11, 1962 and he preceded her in death on April 8, 1989. She is also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers James Edward Barham and Joseph Louis Barham and one sister Elizabeth Ann (Barham) Newsome.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday February 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with Brother Larry Cook officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser.
