Mildred L. (Brown) Lawrence, 98, of Mulkeytown passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Parkway Manor in Marion.
She was born April 5, 1919 in Mulkeytown to Ernest and Permelia (Short) Brown. She married Sam A. Lawrence on April 28, 1937 and he preceded her in death on October 7, 1999.
She is survived by her son Larry (Dottie) Lawrence of Marion; five grandchildren Sharon (Phil) Brown, Jeff (Patrice) Lawrence, Scott (Sandy) Lawrence, Troy (Cari) Lawrence, and Kent (Joanna) Lawrence; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was a Homemaker and a member of the Christ of Christ at Minor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sam, her parents, two sons infant Roger Leon Lawrence, Bill Lawrence and daughter-in-law Pat Lawrence, four sisters Pearl Brown, Blanche Goff, Betty Little Hale, Virginia White, two brothers Everett Brown and Louie Brown.
Family will gather for graveside services and burial at the Mulkeytown Cemetery with Minister Don Wright officiating.
Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher is handling arrrangements.
