Richard A. “Dick” Lemons, 83, of Benton IL, passed away Thursday morning, April 6, 2017 at Helia HealthCare Center in Benton.
He was born in Benton on January 9, 1934, the son of Carroll & Berylene (Smith) Lemons.
Mr. Lemons was a retired Farmer. He was a Mason and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter.
He married Lodean Lemons, and she preceded him in death on March 4, 2015.
Mr. Lemons is survived by his daughter Mary Jo Kirkpatrick & husband Mark of Santa Claus, IN and aunt Sue Hawkins of Mobile, Alabama, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, by a daughter, Vicky Sue Lemons and by his wife.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 10th at the Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton with Dr. Sammy Simmons officiating. There will be no Visitation, those attending the services are requested to meet at the cemetery
In lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church.
