Gail Ivan Furlow, 69, of Buckner, IL passed away on March 27, 2016, at his residence.
He was born on April 13, 1946, to Perry and Zelma (Holman) Furlow. Gail was a member of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.
Gail is survived by his loving daughter, Crystal Gail Van Ausdoll and husband Tim of Vienna, IL; three grandchildren, Emily Hudson and husband Jacob, Collin Van Ausdoll and Grace Van Ausdoll; ; three sisters, Connie Lambert, Brenda Kovach and Marylin Kindler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Zelma Furlow and one brother, Virgil Furlow.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Pate Funeral Home, 301 South Main St., Benton, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at 1:00 pm at the Pate Funeral Home, Benton, IL, with Pastor Jason Todd officiating. Burial will take place in the Harrison Cemetery, with military rites by the Benton American Legion Post 280, VFW Post 2671 and the National Guard Honors Team.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VFW, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
